Three Tools for Teaching Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills

If you are a teacher or a learner then teaching/learning critical thinking and problem solving skills are essential as we move into new cultural and economic realities.   These skills become particularly important for us to thrive as artificial intelligence begins to change our world.  This article from Mind/Shift  introduces tools new to me.

These three tools look useful and reading this article I found a new question,  “What am I missing?”  That is subtlety different from my  standard question, “What is missing?”  And the article introduces three new critical thinking skills.

Teaching students how to make inferences and see positive sides of even terrible ideas can help them develop critical thinking skills.
