Kissing and Horrid Strife – D.H. Lawrence

Spring is my favourite time of year but now in New Zealand it is autumn. The nights are lengthening, it is colder and the dusk sky is intensely coloured. I love the colours. My heart rings with intensity. Still crisp nights and calm clear mornings.

This is a reminder to go outside, to enjoy beauty. That is important to me. My relationship with the outdoors. I love it as I bike, and walk with my family and the dog.

This poem reminds me that Autumn and decay are within the flow of life, and taking photographs takes me outside in the early morning. Beautiful
