We have just returned from four nights at my brother’s piece of forest on the outskirts of the Tongariro National Park, in New Zealand. Remember it is the middle of summer.
Every morning I write a reflection.
One starter question I use is, “What did I notice?” That morning the answer was… New Zealand forest is green, piled up on itself – green. An infinity of green, stretching on into the distance. The forest is so beautiful and timeless and endless that I feel small. That is an honest feeling for a person. Correctly placed in the biosphere.
The photograph is our view from the cabin door. Wonderful.
