My Garden today

I am a gardener, growing vegetables and a few flowers.  Please believe me a garden is a source of beauty and clearly sustains the body and the soul, and a garden saves money.   What’s here: lettuce, beans, leeks, broccoli, tomatoes, potatoes, parsnips, carrots, silver beet, sweet corn, capsicums and grapes.  The marigolds are to control pests.  Another patch has rhubarb and sunflowers.  I know gardens are important; however, Roger Doiron has more to say in his TED speech.  I am not sure I completely agree; gardens are fun, that is reason enough.
